We totally understand, so we’ve listed some of the most frequently asked questions right here.

How do I apply?
Email your name, age, location, contact number and a 2-4 photographs (Please see the photo guide in the apply section) to info@rjmanagement.co.uk
Additional information if applicable: a showreel and Spotlight link.
Do I need professional pictures?
Yes, you will need a minimum of 1 head shot & 1 full length. Additional photos are a bonus. It is important to look natural on your photos. Avoid hats, sun glasses, big hair accessories. Professional photos are recommended.

Is there a joining fee?
There is no fee for registering with RJ Management. However, we do charge a SINGLE £40 website and admin fee for child talent.
This website & admin fee is subject to a 30 day cooling off period. There are no admin fees for adults or child renewals.
What is an agent?
In the entertainment industry, an agent acts as your representative when dealing with potential employers. Your Agent works on your behalf to make sure that you receive the best possible rates of pay, to organise contracts and child licences and to make sure that all the conditions and guidelines are met.
In return, your agent takes a commission out of the wage they have negotiated for you. This commission can range between 15% and 30% depending on the type of work. It should be remembered that the agent is NOT the employer but they work on your behalf to obtain the best for you, by way of obtaining work and negotiating the terms and conditions of that work.
What is Spotlight?
Spotlight is the UK's most popular casting directory. Spotlight offers a wide range of briefs, for commercials, TV and film. Only artists
with Spotlight accounts can be submitted on these briefs. Spotlight payment is made directly to Spotlight. To set up your Spotlight account please use the link provided in the welcome pack.
The industry is highly competitive and realistically, without being on Spotlight it is a lot harder to secure castings. Many casting directors find
the artists they wish to see solely by looking on Spotlight.

Where and when will castings be?
The majority of castings either take place in Central London or Manchester or are done by self tape. You must be happy to travel for castings and work. There is
little notice given when selected for a casting, often you will receive details the day before. It is very important to keep the agency updated on your availability. We ask you to carefully consider whether you are happy to travel at short notice BEFORE you apply to the agency.
The large majority of the work is during the week.
How often will I get work?
This is the million dollar question! We can offer no guarantees in regards to how often you will work. We do not know what work will come in from one day to the next, what our clients will want to advertise or what age groups or size that they will require.
However, we choose our talent carefully, resulting in a large percentage of our actors and models obtaining work!
Can you offer guarantees?
No Agency can offer guarantees. We do however put every individual forward for all jobs that they are suitable for. Ultimately, our clients have the final say on who gets the job.
